My Tech Blog Debut: Where It All Begins

 

Hello, and welcome to my tech blog! As I embark on this exciting journey, I want to take a moment to share a bit about myself, my motivations for diving into the world of technology, and what you can expect from this blog.

Who Am I?

I'm currently in my 5th semester of B. Tech, specializing in Computer Science Engineering. Unlike many of my peers, I didn’t have Computer Science in my 11th and 12th grades. My coding journey began in September 2022 when I entered college. Despite starting a bit later, I quickly discovered a passion for programming and technology that has since grown immensely.

Why I Chose Technology

    

Choosing to pursue a career in technology was a defining moment for me. Even though I didn't have a formal background in computer science before college, I was always intrigued by how technology could solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions. Once I started learning to code, I realized that technology isn’t just about using tools—it’s about building them. This realization drove me to dive deeper into full-stack development, as well as explore the fascinating world of data science and machine learning.

What I’ve Learned So Far

Since starting my journey in September 2022, I've had the opportunity to build a strong foundation in several programming languages and frameworks. Java, for instance, has been central to my learning, providing me with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming. More recently, I’ve been exploring web development through React.js, Node.js, and MongoDB, which have opened up new avenues for creating dynamic and responsive web applications.

Additionally, I’ve ventured into data science and machine learning, where I’ve completed projects such as a cat and dog image classifier and a home loan prediction model. These projects have not only deepened my understanding of AI but also proved the real-world applications of these technologies.

Challenges and Triumphs

Starting coding in college came with its own set of challenges. I had to quickly get up to speed with concepts that many of my peers had been learning for years. Understanding complex algorithms, debugging issues, and managing the fast pace of learning were some of the hurdles I faced. However, these challenges have also been my greatest triumphs. Each obstacle overcome has reinforced my love for technology and my commitment to continuous learning.
